I am honored to work with all human beings from any walk of life. I offer Telehealth therapy within the state of California.

What is Embodiment?

The way the mind and body are interconnected and our physical experiences shape our understandings and interactions within the world.

What is Neurodivergent?

The term considers a population who experiences cognitive functioning or neurological development which differs from what is expected or considered “neurotypical.” Diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia and OCD are considered to be neurodivergent.

What does Decolonizing look like?

Decolonizing is the undoing of colonization. In therapy, this looks like addressing trauma caused by colonization.

How long is a typical session?

Sessions are generally 50 minutes long.

How do I pay?

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out of network provider therefore I do not take insurance. I can offer a superbill to give to your insurance for reimbursement.

Can I cancel an appointment?

Yes, 24 hours before your session, otherwise you will accrue a $100 late/cancellation fee. If you no show a session, you will also be responsible for the $100 fee.

What is a free initial phone consultation?

A free consultation is a 15 minute phone call to chat about your desires in therapy and how I can best support you.

What is the age range of your clients?

I work with people from age 12 to 70.

What can I expect in the first session?

In the first session, I discuss client's goals and intentions for therapy and review desired modalities to use in future sessions. If there is a crisis, that will be the focus of the first session.

What is therapy like with you?

You will receive an inclusive and diverse approach while focusing on holistic healing to connect mind, body and spirit.

How long will I be in therapy?

Typically anywhere from 6-12 weeks, though some clients prefer to stay longer when processing trauma.

Does anyone cry in front of you?

Always! Crying is the nervous system's response to finding homeostasis.

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

I solely offer telehealth or phone calls for sessions.

How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?

You will feel it!

I’ve never been to therapy or shared personal issues before. I’m used to handling things on my own. Aren’t people who go to therapy weak?

We all need love and support in our lives. We are meant to heal and work in groups. Coming to therapy shows courage and strength if anything.

What’s the difference between talking to you or my best friend or family?

We will use psychotherapy, meaning I will offer brain and body base modalities to alleviate stress, anxiety, and trauma.

Have you been in therapy yourself?

Of course, every healer needs a healer.

What is the difference between a psychotherapist and a psychiatrist?

I solely offer talk and body based therapy. I do not prescribe medication though may offer psychoeducation on supplements for mental health or provide referrals to naturopathic support.
