Many people struggling with anxiety feel as if they are constantly on edge, and like a feeling of unease never leaves them.
Others struggle with incessant worry and racing thoughts, often thinking about the what ifs that might happen.
Anxiety can include panic, phobias or fear of socializing.
It can also manifest as obsessive thoughts and behaviors.
Anxiety is being in the future so far you're unable to grasp the present. It can lead to burnout, and it creates an energy leak, which causes a loss of power of the authentic self, creating disarray.
“What do they think of me?”
“Am I too loud or quiet?”
“Did I forget to turn off the stove?”
“I’m going to do poorly!”
“Does my boss hate me?”
“I’m going to get fired.”
Anxiety is a normal part of life, but when it becomes excessive, it negatively impacts someone's life.
If allowed to continue unabated and unresolved, it can lead to phobias, panic, and even can lead to destructive behaviors and create insurmountable body tension.
Anxiety can manifest into obsessive thinking and behaviors to only create more chaos and chronic stress that may even lead to addiction.
You can free yourself from anxiety and begin to be present with your family, with your friends, and most importantly, with yourself.
When you come to therapy, you begin to learn about yourself and body.
You explore how to release muscle tension, and slow down your body to then allow the mind to do the same.
When mind and body begin to connect then we are able to embody safety.
You will be able to envision your future and establish healthy boundaries to sustain a lifestyle you have always deserved.
